Before you place a lending request with a designer. Please make sure to read their terms and conditions. Each designer has their own terms and conditions listed under "Ordering Info".

A person can only request items from one designer at a time. Each request for a different designer must be made separately. Our system will not allow you to place items from two different designers in the your shopping bag. To request item from another designer, you must either finish checking out or empty your shopping bag.

When a person places a lending request on PinkGray, both the designer and the lendee will receive an email with the lending requestinformation. Each request must then go through certain steps. PinkGray is designed keep track of all the important request information at every step of the way.

Every request has the following steps:

1. Open: When a lending request is placed, the request is “Open”. The designer receives an e-mail of the request for review. It is very likely the designer will personally contact you to confirm the request. Besides the items being requested, both parties need to agree on a deliver method, delivery date and return date. If any changes need to be made, only the designer is able to make those changes on the website so you must communicate any changes directly to the designer.
2. Confirmed: Once the request is finalized and confirmed by both parties, the designer will prepare the lending request.
3. Shipped: When the lending request is sent, the designer can enter the shipping/delivery information through PinkGray. This information is automatically e-mailed to the lendee.
4. Returned: When the designer receives the returned items, the designer can record the information in PinkGray

At anytime, a lending request can be “Cancelled”. However, only the designer can mark an order as “Cancelled”. The lendee must contact the designer directly to cancel any request.

Through all the steps, the information and date of each change is recorded. The designer is also able to enter notes which will be recorded in the request’s history. So all information regarding the lending request is available at any time, in one place.

Delivering and Returning Items

Delivery and return of lending requests are sole responsiblity of the designer and the lendee. PinkGray is not responsible for the completion of any lending requests. Please communicate directly with the designer if any problems arise.
